Get Down To The Eden Corn Festival
Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 1:53PM 47th Annual Eden Corn Festival Kicks Off This Weekend
It's time of year again. A delicious Western New York tradition, the Eden Corn Festival, starts tonight and runs until Sunday. The festival takes place at the American Legion Post 880 grounds on Legion Drive in Eden directly off Route US-62.
West Herr will be there with cars on display and will even be driving the King and Queen of the Festival.
"The Eden Corn Festival is about giving back to the community. The proceeds from this four-day community event is a major source of income for many non-profit charitable organizations and local businesses," said festival representatives.
Aside from the finest homegrown corn, the Festival will also feature a variety of delicious foods, midway rides, tractor pulls, square dancing, arts & craft shows, auto shows, country music entertainers, impersonators and much more.
In fact the world's tallest pinball machine will be on display. Visit the Festival's site for a preview or just wait to go and see it for yourself. ![]()
"We're excited to be part of the Corn Festival again and encourage everyone to come see us. We'll be there all weekend," said Tony Helta, General Manager of West Herr Ford in Hamburg.
The full list of events is too much for one post. But with clogging, tractor pulls and animals shows on tap, how can you at least not stop by?
