West Herr Employees Win Prominent Marketing Awards
Monday, March 1, 2010 at 1:25PM Each year the BNSME honors a prominent industry leader from Western New York as the Executive of the Year. This leader is someone whose efforts in the community has not only produced economic rewards for their organization and the area, but also has advanced the sales and marketing profession. Past recipients include Bill Polian, Robert E. Rich, Peter F. Hunt, and Paul Ciminelli.
Former Buffalo Bill Steve Tasker is the Master of Ceremonies for the event. A networking funcion will kick things off at 5:15 with dinner at 6:30 and a short presentation to follow. Tickets are still available. For more information or to register for the event visit the BNSME website.

The BNSME award ceremony was a success for, honoring those who have made significant contributions to sales and marketing in the Buffalo area.
West Herr Vice President William Loecher said "Overall it was a great event. I was proud to be there." Highlights included a speech by Erie County County Executive Chris Collins discussing West Herr's contributions to the community.
Loecher noted the crowd was particularly moved by the award honoring Frederick Surface Jr., an enlisted Marine who also attends Hilbert College. Surface won the Collegiate Sales Award for his work as an intern with Kraft. "People really enjoyed that story," Loecher said.
