More Good News, Penske to Buy Saturn

We are elated by the announcement of the tentative purchase agreement by Roger Penske and his group of the Saturn brand and its assets. Roger Penske is an ideal purchaser for Saturn due to his incredible track record of success in every venture he has undertaken, and his automotive retail experience as he grew the Penske Auto Group to the 2^ndlargest auto group in the world. The new company will be very well managed and efficient and we believe will be a success in a relatively short period of time, with high customer confidence because of the proven track record of the Penske Group. Saturn’s tradition of high level customer and employee satisfaction has always been a cornerstone of Penske’s operation as well. Saturn has an existing powerful network, selling more than 4 million vehicles since its inception in 1990 with more than 80% still in operation.  We hope that this secures the future of the Saturn brand and the jobs of our employees and will create an even stronger Saturn for the future.
